  When reading the article, written by Benjamin Bannister, we get an understanding that typography is often used to convey the right emotion or tone during certain situations, such as the Oscars. The Oscars is a very high class well known Award ceremony that many people love to watch. The article opens with the well known La La Land incident. Warren betty had been given the wrong card to present for best picture, instead in his hand, the winner for best actress. He reads the card, stops, double cheeks to ensure its right, and even looks back inside the envelope. It was clear by his facial expression that something was off, as he showed Faye Dunaway the card with his face saying, “ Is this right?”      Bannister breaks down for us how the issue may have occurred. When we see the photos of the two cards, it's very obvious why there was a mess up. The category for them is in the smallest fount located at the bottom of the card.
