Manfred Mohr

Manfred was born June 8th, 1938 in Pforzheim Germany. he is considered a pioneer in the digital art world. He creates and writes algorithmic art  and generates 2D semiotic graphic constructs with multidimensional hypercubes.





Notable works

Manfred programmed his first digital drawings on a computer in 1969. This was done after learning the Fortran IV programming language to create and design a composition where he would then execute an ink drawing on paper from the program.
